The SAE-800 achieves highly accurate measurements by using a diffuse light source for AE measurement and a dedicated receiver combined with a collimated light source for shutter-speed measurement.

• Measures the exposure value (EV) and aperture value (F-number) of AE cameras and calculates the exposure error (ΔEV) relative to the reference exposure value
• Three-point measurement of focal-plane shutters, with both horizontal and vertical measurement capability
• Measures exposure time, curtain speed, exposure unevenness, X-delay, and other parameters
• High-accuracy shutter-speed measurement up to 1/8000 second
